Brickworld Saga Presents
Building the Ultimate Falcon

The Ultimate Falcon is the biggest LEGO set to date. It's nearly 5000 pieces, nearly a yard long when completed, and costs about 500 bucks. Only a true LEGO Master would buy this thing, and only a true LEGO Master could build it in less than, say, a month.

Day 7:
'The last leg'

The once mighty pile has dwindled to just this.

At last it is time to begin the cockpit. I'll avoid unecessary puns.

Apparently the whole ship is controlled from just these little controls. Who knew piloting a starship was so easy?

It's tiny, but it'll fit the Minifigs in it well enough.

On it goes!

We begin to add the rest of the top hull plating.

I've always wondered what those black round hole things were supposed to be...

At last we put in the Minifigures.

Poor luke is all alone, manning the gun.

This radio dish thing is huge! Compare it to other dishes.

See?

On it goes!

One last thing. We add the other gun that we built earlier. The Falcon is complete!

Now where the hell am I going to put it?!

Build time today:
