Brickworld Saga Presents
Building the Ultimate Falcon
The Ultimate Falcon is the biggest LEGO set to date. It's nearly 5000 pieces, nearly a yard long when completed, and costs about 500 bucks. Only a true LEGO Master would buy this thing, and only a true LEGO Master could build it in less than, say, a month.
Day 6:
'The outer hull'
When I came to work on The Falcon, this page had been torn out and was wrinkled. At first it looked like cat damage, but upon further reflection I believe my mother may have stepped on the instructions and slid slightly, causing it to tear and wrinkle. She denies these claims.
It's time to put in the gunner seat things.
Another train-like part. This will be part of the gun seat thing.
I made two, of course.
These red things will hold the thing in place.
This bigass quad-turbolaser is The Falcon's main weapon. It has two of them, one on top and one on bottom.
You can't tell, but the bottom gunner seat thing is in place. The other was set aside for later.
This hull plating goes near the curved rear section, on the bottom
And these go nearby, also on the bottom.
At last we add the top version of these.
And then we put the thingie in the middle. Those long pieces that were destroyed earlier go onto here, so I built it without them for now.
At first this one looks like it's yet another train piece...
...but it goes around this middle piece right here.
See?
Looks like a cap of some sort.
This stuff goes inside it.
See?
